politics...first step.

hi everybody.
you know, there is no way politics will not find their way into thei blog. that's just the way it is.
i thought a good way to start would be with my "peace plan" for the middle east. it's pretty straight forward, even obvious (like, duuuh..). but we all know the simplest things are often the most elusive. that's definately the way it works in the middle east.
here it is:

1. RECOGNIZE-
Each side must recognize the rights of the other to life, freedom, independence, identity, the right to flourish, the right to a peaceful existence. This is the first and critical stage of the plan. Without formal recognition, in writing, signed by the recognized leaders of each nation, no progress can be made.

2. APOLOGIZE-
Both sides have done horrible things to each other in the name of this and that ideal. Since the death of one life is parallel to the death of all of humanity, there should be a true and deep remorse for these actions, a heartfelt apology on both sides for the pain and anguish they have caused.

3. SHARE-
Each side should revoke their dreams of a complete ‘anything’. Only through compromise is peace achievable. In this way, on one small piece of land, we can create 2 countries, Israel and Palestine, living peacefully and respectfully alongside each-other.

with love,
noa

  1. I hope that one day, soon, someone,... NO, MANY, will share this great dream you have had for so long, and help to make it come true.

    Fingers crossed

  2. Unfortunately, the Palestinians will NEVER apologize, they do not think they have done anything wrong.

  3. Well, I think your plan is perfect, honestly. Unfortunately though, as an American, I don't think I'll ever be able to comprehend the real gravity of the situation nor why it's so difficult for both sides to move on...
On the other hand, I represent Sardinian singer Franca Masu in Spain and I have to say that everyone here was completely taken away by the versatility of your performance, not to mention your kind and peaceful demeanour. An incredible artist and person and in my opinion, an excellent representative of Israel and the hope for peace. We hope to see you back here in Catalonia again soon! Shalom, a reveure!

  4. Michael, is very dificult to apologize when you don´t have the basic to survive... First, all the people must have access to water and arable land to eat... and then, you can sit and talk...
